This exhibition was loaned from the Folk Art Museum. It contained over 100 works, including 20 textiles, 55 decorative art objects, and 2 books.  I worked with couriers on installation plans for the more peculiar works, like a 10’ weathervane, the many quilts, a hanging tooth and sheep sign.  These objects were not built to be displayed in museums, they were meant to be lived with.  We had to find ways to display these works safely, while remaining accessible to the viewer.  The dramatic lighting for the show was requested by the curator and designed and facilitated by me.  With such intricate works we used shadowplay to draw attention to the works.

A few of the decorative artworks of the exhibitions. Many of these works had specialty hardware and mounts fabricated to display objects not built to be displayed in a museum setting.

3 of the 20 textiles from the exhibitions. I created a system using prefabricated backing boards to safely install these very delicate 19th-century textiles.
